Salt adds former FMA exec to its board

Salt Funds Management has appointed Kirsty Campbell, to its Board of Directors.
Campbell is Kirsty is an experienced commercial adviser and professional director. Her previous roles include Head of Supervision at the Financial Markets Authority, where she led the team responsible for licensing and monitoring financial service providers, including fund managers. She originally practised as a solicitor before moving into corporate finance and banking in London and then Auckland.
“The appointment of Kirsty to the Salt Board is the first time we have added an independent director to our Board. We have taken this step after careful consideration that any appointment needed to add skills and experience to the Board but also needed to match Salt’s high ethical standards and culture," managing director Paul Harrison said.
"Kirsty’s expertise has been an invaluable resource for our business since she became the Chair of the Salt Compliance Committee. We are truly delighted to have Kirsty on our Board and look forward to her contribution as Salt seeks to take advantage of the many opportunities that it is currently working on,” Harrison said.
Campbell is a director of New Plymouth PIF Guardians Ltd, which oversees the New Plymouth District Council’s perpetual investment fund and holds a number of other governance roles.
