Glen Macann
Glen Macann is now head of financial advice and head of wealth.
Kiwi Wealth said he had 25 years' experience in financial services, predominantly in Australia.
He was previously head of advice at Q Invest, in Brisbane.
But Juno had been in discussions with him about a head of group role that did not eventuate.
Joe BIshop, Kiwi Wealth general manager of customer, product and innovation, said Macann would lead efforts to enhance access to quality advice.
"Improving access to advice requires the right mix of digital tools and human contact. Our investor base covers a wide range of New Zealanders who come from many backgrounds and have different financial goals.
“We want to keep making sure quality financial advice is readily available to every person that entrusts their money with Kiwi Wealth.
“For example, as we continue to develop our digital Future You and robo-advice platforms, we’re working out what aspects of financial advice can best be provided by technology and what can be best provided by humans. We’ll continue to engage with our customers to understand what they want and need, and then enhance our service offering accordingly.
“Glen brings impeccable credentials that will help us achieve this. He’s worked with some of Australasia’s top financial planners and practitioners of goals-based advice. That experience will be of huge benefit to our investors.”
