Mark Devcich
Mark Devcich will take the role at the beginning of the new financial year.
He is currently head of research and portfolio manager.
He joined the fund manager eight years ago and founder Mike Taylor said in a note to clients that he had proven himself “over and over again” as an adept stock picker.
“The archetypal ‘safe pair of hands’ but with a shrewd eye for opportunities. As CIO Mark will be focussing purely on investments ensuring the Pie Funds’ investment strategy continues to be implemented successfully.”
Paul Gregory becomes group head of investments, with a focus on management, operations governance and compliance.
Taylor will chair the investment committee.
