Craigs Investment Partners has promoted Hannah Gillespie to head of strategy commencing June 1, reporting directly to chief executive Simon Tong.
“The head of strategy position is a new role for Craigs”, Tong said.
“Hannah will be a key member of the executive leadership team, with responsibility to lead and manage the development, implementation, and reporting on the Craigs business strategy.”
Gillespie brings a wealth of experience to her new position across a number of organisations. Most recently she was a director in Craigs Investment Banking team, forging strong client relationship and working on some of New Zealand’s largest equity deals. This highlights her extensive advisory, strategic, and transaction experience. Prior to Craigs, Gillespie spent two years in Dentsu Aegis Network’s M&A team in Singapore and six years in PwC’s corporate finance teams in Auckland and Singapore.
Of her new appointment, Gillespie said: “I am delighted to take up the role of head of strategy ... I am confident [Craigs] will continue to build on the foundations laid over the last 35 years, to deliver exceptional client outcomes, as well as make a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate.”
