Ben McQuay will become the insurer's new strategic accounts manager.
“With the changing regulatory landscape and operating within the FAP framework, the role of strategic accounts manager continues to be critical for AIA NZ as the key conduit between our business and the independent financial adviser market," AIA chief partnership officer Sam Tremethick says.
McQuay has been involved with the financial services industry for almost 20 years, with over 14 years in a variety of roles within AIA. McQuay continues AIA’s focus on health, wellbeing and high performance, and is committed to helping people lead Healthier, Longer, Better lives, Tremethick says.
“This appointment is another great example of how AIA continues to develop and promote internal talent, and we look forward to welcoming Ben on to the partnership insurance leadership team."
Recruitment is now underway with a market-wide search to fill the northern regional business development manager role.
