In her new position, du Toit will report to chief executive Gail Costa and will become a key member of the senior leadership team. She will help drive the company’s efforts to future-proof the business and strengthen its protection offerings for New Zealanders.

"As the industry continues to evolve, Lee-Ann’s extensive experience in strategic business leadership and customer-focused solutions will be invaluable to Chubb Life," Costa says. "The Chief Actuary is instrumental in guiding the board and senior leadership team in making informed strategic decisions."

du Toit has more than 25 years of diverse experience in financial services and  has held leadership roles in actuarial, sales, customer, and marketing functions. She is also the current President of the New Zealand Society of Actuaries.
