Chubb Life appoints chief actuary
Harvard Business School alumnus and President of New Zealand Society of Actuaries joins Chubb Life New Zealand.

Chubb Life has appointed Lee-Ann du Toit as its new Chief Actuary. She joins the insurer from Deloitte New Zealand, where she held the roles of Insurance Sector Leader and Lead Partner for Actuarial Services.
In her new position, du Toit will report to chief executive Gail Costa and will become a key member of the senior leadership team. She will help drive the company’s efforts to future-proof the business and strengthen its protection offerings for New Zealanders.

"The Chief Actuary is instrumental in guiding the board and senior leadership team in making informed strategic decisions."
du Toit has more than 25 years of diverse experience in financial services and has held leadership roles in actuarial, sales, customer, and marketing functions. She is also the current President of the New Zealand Society of Actuaries.
